Teen Choice Awards 2017 red carpet: Rita Ora Leads Glamour

- Several high-profile winners, including Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran, were no-shows at the ceremony
- Miley and Chris Pratt were widely rumoured to host the annual ceremony
- Chris won Choice Sci-Fi Movie Actor, marking his first public appearance since his split from Anna Faris
- Gal Gadot, Lucy Hale, Fifth Harmony and Vanessa Hudgens were among the other winners
- Event took place at the University Of Southern California‘s Galen Center
The Teen Choice Awards got off to a colorful start as the young stars of Hollywood dressed to impress on Sunday.
Among the first to arrive on the blue carpet was Rita Ora, who paired a bold new hair color with a bright pink plunging gown.
Actress Vanessa Hudgens also turned heads at the Los Angeles event, as did Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale in an embroidered cut-out mini dress.

Rita, 26, paired her freshly dyed neon fringe with a brightly colored Alexandre Vauthier dress, which featured a cinched waist, thigh-high slit and long sleeves.
The hit maker flashed her cleavage in the low-cut number, adding a glittering body chain for even more sparkle.
Vanessa sported curve hugging patterned Reem Acra trousers with flared bottoms and a high-waistline.
The High School Musical actress, 28, styled her statement-making bottoms with a shimmering blouse – also by Reem Acra – and black stilettos by Giuseppe Zanotti.

The embroidered frock included cut-out detailing above her hips as well as large button-style details along the center.
Dancer, actor and model Maddie Ziegler chose the same trend as Lucy – but opted for a more conservative look.
The 14-year-old starlet, who started her career on Dance Moms, chose embroidered cropped bottoms with a matching high-neck top from the Zac Posen Resort Collection.
Adorable: Vanessa posed alongside Happy The Dog; Happy starred in the Hallmark channel movie Love At The Shore, which premiered on August 5

Famous In Love actress Bella Thorne hit the carpet in one of the big trends of the night – neutral colored pieces.
However, the teenager brightened up her two-toned look with neon pink hair and a substantial amount of glitter.
Bella was joined by her boyfriend Blackbear – who coordinated in black and white – as well as their new puppies.
Following the black and white trend as well was The Way I Are (Dance With Somebody) singer Bebe Rexha and Supergirl actress Melissa Benoist.

Paris Jackson looked gorgeous in her Zimmerann flower patterned frock, featuring a pleated skirt and a keyhole neckline.
The brunette beauty, 19, chose nude lipstick with brown shadow to complete her understated look.
Shadowhunters actress Katherine McNamara posed up a storm in a floral mini dress, complete with blush colored heels.

Lori and her daughters Isabella Rose Giannulli, 18, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 17, coordinated in flower and eyelets frocks.
The former Full House star flashed her sculpted legs while posing alongside her equally stunning children.

Judd Apatow arrived with his 14-year-old daughter Iris Apatow – who looked like a mini me of her mom Leslie Mann.
Iris made her acting debuting at the age of four in the 2007 film Knocked Up; she was directed by her dad Judd in the comedy with her mom Leslie and her older sister Maude Apatow also co-starring.
A very casual Naya Rivera styled a puffy sleeved Marques’ Almeida chambray top with ripped jeans by GRLFND denim, adding a B-low The Belt and Gianvito Rossie heels.
Candace Cameron Bure went for a dark blue pair of leather bottoms, adding a sheer paneled top and pink tied locks.

The 19th annual show will feature performances from French Montana, Rita Ora and Louis Tomlinson during a two-hour broadcast that honors stars from film, television, sports and even YouTube personalities.
Miley Cyrus and Bruno Mars were among the honorees. Cyrus, who did not attend the awards show, was awarded the ceremony’s highest honor, the Ultimate Choice Award.
Mars was being given the Visionary Award for his success in pop music.
The show, which doles out many of its awards based on online voting, begins at 8 p.m. EDT. It is tape-delayed for West Coast audiences.
