Emmerdale to welcome TWO new hunks as Ned Porteous and Andrew Scarbourgh join the cast and catch Debbie Dingle’s eye

Debbie Dingle is about to be sent reeling as not one, but two new hunks join the cast of Emmerdale .

The ITV soap will welcome the new characters in September, and they’ll immediately cause a stir in the village.

Newcomer Ned Porteous takes the role of Tom Waterhouse, whilst his right hand man, Graham Foster, will be played by acclaimed actor Andrew Scarborough.

Fans will be introduced to Graham when Charity (Emma Atkins) reveals she’s secured a new business client. Debbie (Charley Webb) is keen to clinch the deal and insists she go and meet him leaving Charity simmering.

With mother and daughter competing against one another it’s a glammed-up Charity who arrives to meet Graham in a hotel bar, but Debbie is not far behind.

Debbie appears to make the right impression and it looks as though everything is going her way until they leave the hotel. With the deal on a knife edge, and Debbie’s finances in disarray she is visibly panicked at what unfolds as the deal is crucial to keeping their luxury car hire business afloat.

What has Debbie got herself into? And who are Graham and Tom? Has our Emmerdale schemer finally met her match? Could Tom, particularly, be the answer to Debbie’s financial woes if she plays her cards right? Will the smell of money and sense of glamour prove to be a strong temptation for Debbie or will she get out of her depth? And what will become of her on-off relationship with bad boy, Ross?

Debbie takes a fancy to Tom

Ned said: “I was really delighted to secure the role of Tom. I’ve never played a character like this before and I am very excited to see how his story develops!”

Whilst Andrew admits: “Graham is an interesting guy. He’s a bit enigmatic but he definitely has hidden depths, which I can’t wait to explore and he’s fiercely loyal to his boss Tom. I see Graham as a man a little like Alfred, the butler in Batman.”

Both Andrew and Ned have already started filming with the Emmerdale production team and their scenes are set to air from September.
