Bayern Munich tore Porto apart and raced into a 5-0 half time lead as the German giants overturned a 3-1 first leg deficit to reach the Champions League semi-finals.

Former Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara headed the Bavarians in front before Jerome Boateng doubled the home side's advantage to give Bayern the lead on away goals.

Robert Lewandowski scored a brace either side of Thomas Muller's strike on 36 minutes as Bayern boss Pep Guardiola amusingly ripped his trousers in celebration.

Jackson Martinez pulled a goal back for the Portuguese side but it was just a consolation as Xabi Alonso made it six late on.
