Teen admits killing nurse in horror hit-run smash
An 18-year-old man has pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving over a hit-and-run crash at Parafield last month which killed a woman.
Lucy Paveley, 40, was driving to work on August 20 when her car was struck at high speed on Main North Road by an allegedly stolen four-wheel-drive.
The driver of the car, Lyle Leonard Morrison, appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court this afternoon where he admitted his driving caused Mrs Paveley’s death but denied a manslaughter charge.
He also pleaded guilty to driving disqualified, engaging in a police pursuit and failing to stop after the crash to render assistance.
